Halle Merrick

Halle Merrick (she/they) is a YA writer, often of Sapphic witches existing in times and worlds that do not care for Sapphics or witches. They hold a Bachelors in Creative Writing and a Masters in Professional Writing, and are currently an Associate Lecturer of Creative Writing at Falmouth University.

They are the founder and editor-in-chief of Haunted Words Press, and their work has been published in multiple literary magazines. When not working, they are often found writing about witches, reading, and trying to entertain and distract a kitten from destroying furniture. She would very much like to live in a haunted house with a legion of ghosts one day, but for now resides in the void with the other ghouls, and one very much alive kitten.

She can be found on Instagram @hallemaem, her website hallemerrick.com, or contacted on her email hallemaem@gmail.com. Or you can send a whisper into the shadows at the witching hour, and if you promise a coffee or crystals, she'll probably respond.
